•  Colette Lyle — I can’t recommend Queenz highly enough! I’ve been riding with Katharyn for years and she has really helped me to improve my riding and horsemanship. I’m a very nervous rider and I easily lose confidence, but she always manages to break down the goal into smaller steps so that I can progress without being over-faced. There are some wonderful horses to ride if you don’t have your own. The livery barns are always very clean, tidy and well maintained and all horses are given 5 star care. All the staff are very friendly and supportive and are always on hand to help you out if you need it.

However, he is a real worry wart and I worried how he would cope as he was so settled where he was. I am so pleased that I took the plunge, myself and Sampson have been at Queenz almost a year now and and we’ve loved it! We’ve made lots of new friends, continued our lessons, been to the beach and some shows, and explored miles of amazing new hacking routes. The most important thing is the amazing care that the Queenz team provides for Sampson, they have been so patient with him and always find a way to keep him happy and relaxed.

Chiara was a hesitant rider and Katharyn knew what she needed to gain confidence. We loaned Daisy and it was one of the best things we ever did. Chiara didn’t just find confidence training and successfully competing in small local show jumping days, she found her ‘riding family’ who sustained her through the hard days of the pandemic and provided mental and physical relief. The yard is beautiful and perfectly cared for, the horses are looked after with meticulous attention and a care that can only come from love and respect for the animals. The communication with clients is prompt and personal and the interest of the riders always taken into account. We have found our place. Chiara is now riding a much more challenging pony, Marmite, that she loves with all her heart, she will be forever grateful to beautiful Daisy and to Queenz for giving her the support to get where she is.
